Sorta like "Freeway" Ricky Ross. His distribution network imported directly from the contras, that was sanctioned by the CIA. That's how he got the moniker "Freeway". He was released from prison and does interviews now, talking about it. There's another clip on youtube of a deputy DEA director admitting the agency imported and sold a couple tonnes of cocaine in the US. Not sure if that was related to the contra thing too. Then, there was vietnam. Army flying in heroine etc.
