not being flippant, but july 3 or 4th was a full moon, ask your local beat cop, things always escalate on a full moon
Not to dismiss the cop's story, but it is anecdotal. Is there any formal research on the question of the full moon's effect?

But Mav is not a deep thinker, like most the hard right. Reactionaries, almost all of em.

I'm going to really enjoy that dinner Ron. You act like this in real life too right?

have you aver had a girlfriend or wife, check out the full moon occurence and her cycle, there's proof using half the population

Quote from Ricter:

Heat correlates well with violence. It lowers the "tipping point". Of course it is but one factor. But this is based on empirical observation, i.e. data. Perhaps you can do better than that.

[I'm not denying a cultural problem, it also exists.]

People don't kill people. Heat does...? lol

Lol, funny.

Damn, I didn't think anybody knew that down here in the basement but me. That why half those "blacks are violent" threads, I don't respond to. I always have to consider the source, which is usually educated just barely enuf to feed his face.

Sorta like "Freeway" Ricky Ross. His distribution network imported directly from the contras, that was sanctioned by the CIA. That's how he got the moniker "Freeway". He was released from prison and does interviews now, talking about it. There's another clip on youtube of a deputy DEA director admitting the agency imported and sold a couple tonnes of cocaine in the US. Not sure if that was related to the contra thing too. Then, there was vietnam. Army flying in heroine etc.
