We are all flawed. Self-realization of that won't make us very much less flawed, but perhaps it will help to make it easier for others to tolerate us.English is one thing. American is another. We Americans use the same English words all English speaking people use, but they have different meanings to Americans. A lot of it today is plays on words based on well known movie quotes. Nothing I like better to do than get up in the morning and bitch about America. But when an outsider does it I am forced to support even the Americans I detest.
