Quote from andrasnm:
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
Conclusion
Despite the convenience of âdo as you please as long as you confess on Sundayâ - Jesusâ death does not lift your Karma. Everybody needs to account for his/hers deeds. If you think about it - it make perfect sense. If it is too good to be true â is usually isâ¦
My brother, let us exercise caution when quoting the bible, for it is truly a psychic minefield. Only a small minority of quotes attributed to me are authentic, or lend themselves to the original meaning. Of those that are authentic, virtually none are understood, and have lost their meaning because of the context in which they are couched. The bible, like the world, is the product of a mind in conflict with itself, contradicting itself, and requires the wise one to step carefully.
Sure enough, my "death" parody does not accomplish anything directly in terms of either karma or atonement. It is merely a prequel...a 'set-up' for the resurrection "proof". The resurrection was my contribution to the atonement. (You have your contribution too, when you are ready to fulfill it.) The crucifixion is helpful only in the sense that it is understood as a teaching device that points to the nasty, albeit untrue, genesis of this world. The world would prove that the Son of God can be imprisoned, tortured, crucified. But in truth, the Son of God cannot be crucified. And whatever effects it seems to establish (death), are a moot point, nil, without cause, unjustified, untrue, unreal, and without any real effect.
The resurrection basically says: "I have not been hurt, so those who seemed to be implicated in my crucifixion are not guilty". This becomes a contribution to the atonement [reunification of the Son of God] when you are willing to understand that what ordeals befell me as the symbol of the Son of God,
point to the truth about the Son of God...about his one mind. What this means is that - because the whole world is a symbol of the Son of God crucified - and - because the Son of God cannot be hurt...no one is guilty of anything. This is the basis of forgiveness, which is the basis of exodus and return to oneness...and the innocence that is oneness.
Meanwhile, karma grinds away, continuing to crucify the Son of God. So it seems. But, because none are really guilty, no one is really accountable to karma. Karma is transcended by love. The greatest love is to lay down one's so-called "life" in the world. This so-called "life" is what seems to hurt the Son of God. It represents the sacrifice of his glory...his very life. For this reason, nothing in this world avoids death scenarios which are really confusing scenarios.
Death scenarios accomplish nothing. But to lay down the will that desires this world to be its home...now, that is an accomplishment. It is an accomplishment that can be shared, and is shared with the entire Son...because without such a contribution, the Son of God would not be whole...
is not whole without you. Our neighbor or "freind" benefits from our accomplishent, because our friend is part of the Son of God too, and is motivated by inspiration. In this way, laying down one's so-called "life" in the world is the greatest love of all. This renders the law of karma a moot point, nil, nothing...
because the law of karma does not apply to the Son of God. The Son of God does not reincarnate once he has chosen to go home. Home, reincarnation and karma were just a nightmarish dream.
