But as you state above, the dems won't budge on the position that protecting illegals is more important than protecting american workers.
That's what you meant right? Because FNN winds them all up and gets them to play along with the idea that there is no way out except for Trump to drop whatever he wants but in fact the dems could fund the wall and they would be back at work.
So if the dem fed workers want to side with dems in supporting illegals over american workers then they need to be prepared to live with consequences. Otherwise, they need to put pressure on their party rather than just being tools for the Dem Plantatition owners.

In a new The Hill-HarrisX poll released Monday, only 22 percent of registered voters surveyed blamed Democrats for the shutdown, while 42 percent said President Trump was to blame. One-third of voters said that both parties in Congress and the president were all equally responsible.
