The Ultimate diet!!!!

So there you have it.....no more fried foods, long walk once or twice a week and step away from your plate and leave some on it...it can;t all be this simple can it??? Its not even hard to do but its had a huge effect...

What you have described is the basic equation for maintaining or losing weight that the majority of people don't understand and/or can't live by...intake less than or equal to what you expend !!!

It IS that simple.

In all honesty...I spent 3 weeks in Europe earlier this summer and even though i wasn't;t working out...i lost weight....we noticed there were much smaller portions, everybody walking, and side dishes were veggies not french fries...In the past i always ate what i wanted but just put the work in the gym to keep thin but that was getting harder to do as i got older...this is actually easy

I just ordered some organic raw chia seeds. South American Indians still run 100 mile races, old guys with white hair look forward to it and they finish too. It is said they grab coca leaves on the way to keep going but I knew intuitively it takes more than some stimulant to do that and live to look forward to it, you have to have that basic health to support such activity. I got another piece of the puzzle, they eat chia seeds. The things are said to be the most nutrition dense food known to man. Two tablespoons and you have plenty of omega 3, and at 20 cents a day that is the cheapest supplement to price ratio I ever found.

Also, QiGong. I did some qigong breathing while doing curls and my bicycling ability doubled over night. I exercised my arms and my legs got more endurance is what I am saying. Some consider Chi to be a nutrient and I just joined that school of thought.

I'm with you on the beer, I cut out my afternoon beer a week back, don't miss it that much... actually I do but the belly thing is just disgusting, it's gotta go. Can a guy in his 60's work up a six pack? Shit, now I'm jonesin' for the afternoon draught of dark ale....

you got one hell of a tude for 60' holmes.....i am 22 years away from that and only hope to have your spunk when i get there...fat, bald it dont matter when you gots pizzaz and spirit and life in ya......

that's right, if we all eat sugar we're gonna die.

do you know what "sugar" is? it's found in fruits and vegetables. your post is stupid.

so Rocco....i guess your saying...SUGAR IS BAD?? LOL

I have read and heard though that REFINED CANE sugar is the devil where as the sucrose sugars found in fruits are good for you...kind of like there are good and bad cholesterol and fatty acids...but what the fuck do i know? Im not a Dr....But I did stay at a holiday inn last night!!!!

FWIW...if you have kids, heres another little thing i have done...We stopped ordering a meal for each of the kids...they NEVER finish and my wife and i become " the clean up crew" and finish up all their stuff so it doesn't;t go to waste....we also stopped ordering them french fries as well.

even fruit sugar burns up a little too fast. Cinnamon with fruit is a good thing, tasty too. About 1/8 teaspoon helps you regulate sugar metabolism. It's free at most restaurants [you might have to ask for some on the side, they all have it in the kitchen somewhere] and coffee places too.. back in the day my mom used to cook these horrendous things with fruit and sugar but she always served them with cinnamon.. we have no diabetes in the family at all...

If i have that urge to not waste food I ask "is this really food?". If it's white flour, sugar, soft drink, fried, etc. the answer is no and I consider it s possibly more entertainment than food and I just do a little of it. A little coca cola in polite company, to be sociable, for the entertainment value, the good taste, is not going to hurt anyone, finishing a 16 ouncer is stupid IMO.
