"Your personal information is Facebook's currency. It's bought and sold every day."
May want to read your own damn article
" but Facebook says he broke its rules when he passed that information to Cambridge Analytica without users' authorization"
Selling you ads using data they have is not the same as selling the same data to everyone to mine.
Ohhhh Facebook said that. It must be true then.
FB doesn't have say that, if you think they are selling their internal data, give me a link and I will buy it right away.
To think logically here, why would FB give away their internal data to the competition when they can use that data to make billions for themselves?
A key part of their business is selling data. What don't you understand?
Again, if they are selling data, give me a link where I can buy it.
I will understand when you provide proof of your claims.
And all data isn't equal, cookies and tracker information is not same as user submitted information, FB can legally sell tracker information, they cannot do the same with your name, date of birth and your phone number for example. Try to think a bit for a change.
They don't always sell the data, they gave the data to Obama for free,
I am done with your nonsense, you just repeat every right wing stupidity without zero effort to think critically.
CA breach involved the friends of users that agreed to the survey. Less than 1 million agreed but 50 million had their data accessed. There's a big difference from using data for only those who agreed which is what other campaigns did.
