The Tech Lead takes on BLM (and loses)

Having done several tours of duty in big tech I can tell you this is not true. I've met some of the dullest most dimwitted people working in tech and the worst part is they all had prestigious STEM degrees from reputable schools.

[COFFEE FLIPPING INTENSIFIES]
am just asking why I should spend time watching some youtuber's opinion and how it makes it any worthier than all the other garbage opinions I read on here?

[COFFEE FLIPPING INTENSIFIES]

These are the ones that tend to go into management.

Although there are plenty of slow software developers as well. Problem is when the economy is booming, good candidates are hard to find and companies lower hiring standards.

You shouldn't. I find him annoying and arrogant and I spent my day around people just like him.

That's why I gave you a [COFFEE FLIPPING INTENSIFIES]. He flips his stupid high priced canned coffee nearly every video.

ah, didn't watch....thought you meant to say you yourself were flipping your coffee for me being dismissive of the guy

Looks like our good friend the Tech Lead used his rational an logical thinking to take on BLM.

Well...we all know what the outcome of that would be.

I guess he got what he was looking for ... more attention to his channel.

True...but he lost his sponsors.

Ok, I had previously watched all but the very end. Just completed the whole video.

I've seen some of his videos in the past. He seemed like he was running out of good topics, so I had stopped following him several weeks ago.

IMO, he gambled and lost. He knew about 'cancel culture' before he made the video. He probably mis-calculated in thinking that the video would stay within "his circle" of fans.

And, it's no surprise to me that this was his first political video. IOW, he had avoided political topics intentionally--and after watching some of the first video ... for good reason.

Being a great coder, does not make one a great political thinker--The Peter Principle (We all rise to our level of incompetence. Being good at one thing makes us/others believe we'll be good at the next thing.)

There are obvious major flaws in his political conclusions. Not really interested in debating them, if you disagree. But I'm sure they're what sparked the outrage and drop in sponsors.

I wonder if his views will also go down?

Not saying that that's what I'm hoping. I hope that he talks to some people that could fill in what he's missing regarding the politics; and come away from this better for it--including a return of his viewers/sponsors.

Anyone who rejects biology is ignorant. IQ varies between races, same goes to the brain mass, height, body mass, bone mass, facial features, and more.

Females and blacks have inferior brain mass according to various studies. Whites have inferior brain mass to Asians.

These are just facts. Asians tend to perform better in universities compared to other races. Blacks tend to perform worse compared to other races. Of course there will be some outliers.
