oh yeah ! the downtrend continues, we have been short since 1777 in the nasdaq index, and are holding all index product shorts overnight once again. our neo-gann channel has shifted a bit, it's currently 1683 to 1727. as always, short below, long above and flat in between.

Hey

can you elaborate a bit on your Gann channel, . Also you position trade but take signals on 3 min.chart ? post a chart so we can see what you are talking about IMO the market is getting oversold here we should bounce anytime for a day or two.
 
hi,

yes, a three minute violation of the channel triggers the entry. the position stays on untill stopped out either at entry should the move fail, or via a discretionary trailing stop depending on your goals and tolerance. a trade can last 2 seconds to several weeks using the system. hope this helps.

hi,

its the first day of may. our discretionary stops in the nasdaq index were triggered today at 1693 locking in a nice profit on the short trade. we are currently flat in the channel and will go long or short depending on what way the next break is. 1683 to 1727 is the current gann channel.

our nasdaq index system went short today upon breaching the lower gann channel figure of 1683. we are holding all index shorts overnight with relatively wide stops at 1703.

hi,

we are currently holding shorts in the nasdaq index, expecting more downside. our next level of support sub the major channel of 1683 to 1727 is 1623. if 1623 is taken out, fully expect a move to sub 1601 shortly thereafter. our stops have been tightened to 1666, locking in a small profit on this entry.

an additional strategy that we will execute if 1663 holds by monday close is to put on a vertical call spread via NDX options,across several brokers.

we continued to surf the DOWN wave today from the bottom of the neogann channel. our next level is 1598 as support, if this does not hold, we are expecting test of the september 2001 lows. monday 5.7.2002 is critical in determining direction next week. if the market (nasdaq) closed above 1623 on monday, we will begin executing NDX call spreads for expiration. if we close sub 1598, nix the call spread concept and hang on the shorts.
our short stops are currently at 1633 to lock in profit on this ride.

whoa !, we continue to surf the down wave on the nasdaq index. today, the composite blew thru the 1598 figure, closing at the lows of 1578. holding all index product shorts overnight once again, will ride this wave as far as we can with trailing stops. our stops (mental) are at 1607 and will trail should the downward motion continue. 1557 is the next neogann support level.
