goodmorning,


we are short entering the opening this morning. due to some positive comments from CSCO chairman, it looks like we are going to explode on the upside this morning. when we are caught short with a imminent gap up, our system states to WAIT and WATCH. we are not doing anything for the first 30 minutes with our short nas index positions, then a determination will be made whether to hold or cover. we are well in the profit range on this trade, so getting out should :) not be too painful.

opening projections and that is all this is is dow up 90, naz up 45, but we will see.

all system shorts in the nasdaq closed. current wheel channel is 1657 to 1677, we reshort sub channel and will go long above.
what a move !!

SMACKED OUT ! whoa !! needless to say, we were smacked out of our system entered nasdaq shorts yesterday . the current channel is currently 1677 to 1703. a long signal was definately fired yesterday, however, due the extraordinary explosion , the decision was made to stay FLAT. today, we will enter longs above 1703 and short sub 1677 staying flat in the death channel.

hey pete,

thanks for the note. all i do on the chart is draw horizontal lines (2) across the daily and intraday nasdaq composite charts at the channel figures. when either line is violated by a FULL three minute candle, that triggers the entry. hope this helps.

system entered shorts today upon breaking of 1677 in the nas composite. we are holding shorts into the open. expecting further retrace of the "cisco" inspired rally. next support is 1623. see everyone tomorrow in chat (friday).

man, what a day friday !! holding nasdaq shorts entered several days ago at 1677. this week is options expiration , and should be volatile. the nasdaq blew thru support at 1623 and ended the day right on 1600. the current channel is 1598 to 1627. if you are not already short, short below, long above and flat inbetween.

we were quickly stopped out of our nasdaq index shorts monday, during the strong rally. the system went LONG at 1627, however, we did not enter longs at this level due to conflicting data forcing the decision to stay flat today in the index. we are going to stay flat untill 1663 is violated on the upside. the channel is currently 1627 to 1663. long above, short below flat inbetween.

another powerful bull move in the nasdaq today !! as you know, the gap up thru the upper channel figure negates the entry signal. therefore, we are still FLAT the index :(. our next channel from this level is 1693 to 1727. short below, long above flat inbetween. if we gap up (again) thru the upper figure, we will stay flat and evaluate situation from there. will post intraday tomorrow wednesday update.
