we had a wild ride today in our shorts entered yesterday on the lower channel break. we are staying short into thursday morning. the IBM /YEN trade is still doing nicely adding to gains today in both positions. holding for convergence...

closed shorts friday with miniscule profits. currently flat with 10427--10477 as the channel today.

we are back flat after being stopped out of the shorts with small profit. i am going to use the lower channel line as a LONG entry here, expecting travel to the upper line of 10477 should 10427 be broken on the upside. i realize this is a slightly unusual approach for the system, but looks like a nice strategy here.

did "ya'll" stop out and reversed :eek:
my circumventing the system in the DJIA ,across multiple instruments, led to massive losses today. i experienced my largest drawdown in years and am currently FLAT. will be taking a break from the surf report to evaluate my present mind set to see what can be learned from today. see everyone soon.
