Wow, over an hour to post a paper trade exit.
What, had to wait till you were losing money on it to post an imaginary exit?
You really need to add more spaces in-between your lies so they stand out even more.

Well done, liar.

My god... that really IS pathetic. Especially, since Muppetsmurf has a history of holding on, waiting for "the imminent death spiral"... but now, suddenly, he has taken profits and exited.???...but then again, who cares if a trader with an imaginary girlfriend posts an imaginary exit on an imaginary trade in an imaginary account?

And- "lazy farmers"? They must be living in godforsaken hick towns, no doubt? Whenever I think the Muppetsmurf has crawled to a new low, he surprises me by diving headlong.... if one were to chart his path, it would be a downtrend without even retracements, a chart readable even to the smurf himself.... by the way- anyone who has the time to waste posting on a forum several thousand times should use words like "lazy" lightly...

As always- beats me what the motivation for all this public revealing of one's own inadequacy is- perhaps fishing for methods, or increasing post counts... no idea.

I think maybe someone forgot to tell that to JimmyJam:

Specifically, I draw the reader's attention to JimmyJam's use of the words "very doable" and "easily" in his proposed scenario.
:D
I am honestly sorry if I offended you or anyone else by the use of the words very doable and easily when used in the context of making 2pts (or equivalent) per day ES when averaged on a weekly basis ... but to me, it is, particularly with these extraordinarily wide ranges we are getting.

I am also sorry that you do not find this to be the case with your trading. :(

Good trading,

JJ

You earlier post in the other thread which I referenced was not specifically in the context of the recent volatility. Your post was not conditional in this regard. Further, quite apart from your views of "very doable" and "easy" performance, your arithmetic was wrong.

Quote from Pekelo:

Seriously Surf, according to my chart the last time YM was in that range was around 9:20, so you needed 3 hours to post it??? You had time to bullshit about semantics, but not to post the exit??

Unless you post it in 5-10 mins after the fact, don't even bother...
Out of respect for Magna, I'll keep it clean, but Suf has been caught in a big fat lie on this one ... I believe that's your cue, Thunderdog :p

JJ (see chart, it always tells the story, now doesn't it, hmm?) :D

I can't attest to what either JJ or Smurf meant by "Fast Money" but this environment is no place to learn something quickly, at least nothing worth while.
Time it takes for the average trade to go to completion ... about 15 minutes or less.

Time it took to learn this method of trading ... about 3-4 years.

In this case, surfer may or may not be fibbing. The "evidence" is at best suggestive, depending on how you view him. However, when I raised another issue a while back, I believe that the circumstances were more compelling. I try to be circumspect.
