You wouldn't want to make a scientist a jock, and you wouldn't want to make hard-core construction worker a hair stylist, so there's no point in trying to make'em do those trend trading trades that make a net profit every week (notice I didn't say day, I said week, there's an element of randomness that has to be accounted for) ... just let'em BE.

You're right, I give up. I just hate seeing the constant losses though. I know he will catch one of these tops with his method but at what overall cost.

You are correct. You have been shorting tops in the YM since October and I have been buying each pullback that has made a Higher Low during the same period in the YM. You have lost on every trade and I have profited from each pullback. I can see why this is of no interest to you.

I have phrases for your edification-- driftless stochastic process, Brownian motion and Levy theorem. This would be a good start if you have any interest in actually doing what you talk about.
