good afternoon,

the DJIA surpassed the upper channel figure of 8327 but did not break it by the system's parameters of a FULL three minute bar/candle, therefore we are FLAT the DJIA. Long the nasdaq from 1405 compx equivalent. holding here--stops are 1397 in nasdaq.

it's friday morning and i am LONG the nasdaq and FLAT the djia. the stop line at 1397 was touched near the close yesterday, but the line was not broken by the parameters set fourth in the system. long entering open, flat the DJIA.

looks like the indexes may gap up thru the upper channel figures this morning. will be trading with the 12 minute gap rule today. still holding SIRI long. remember upper channel figures are 8327 djia and 1403 nasdaq.

our system placed us long in the DJIA and NASDAQ. DJIA at 8477 and nasdaq at 1422. our stops will be the 3 minute 20 period simple moving average in both indexes today.

stopped out with small profits in DJIA and NASDAQ. currently FLAT. new go long figures are 8503 DJIA, 1433 NASDAQ . our new channel is DJIA 8503 --- 8397 NASDAQ 1433--- 1397

system placed us long after the first 12 minutes of trading, we were then stopped out when the DJIA and N ASDAQ broke the 20 sma on three minute charts with small profits. the system then fired shorts when 8397 and 1397 were violated. the system generated 95 points of profit in th DJIA and several points in the nasdaq--unrealized at this time since we are holding overnight.

Hmmmm. After 12 minutes you went long, then you got stopped out with profits? Damn tight stop. Must have place it mentally as soon as you moved into profits.

Seems to me the mental stop would have been a break below 1420.

No wonder you didn't bother to post the entry points.

Oh well, who is keeping score anyway?

thank you for posting that nice chart. please reread my post and place a 20 period sma on a 3 minute chart of the DJIA. you will see exactly where my exit point was after entering on the fourth candle.

My chart was of the NAZ, not the DJIA.
