The Surf Report--part 2

Quote from improvingstops2:

What a pack of whingers you guys are.

Surf hasn't been perfect with his timing-he's wrong on that issue, but he's made a series of good trades and seems to be in profit yet again. For his style of trading, he's doing a good job.

Hope you have a good profit on this trade!

Thanks. I'll be the first to admit that my timing is not exact-- I am more comfortable in the macroanalysis world-- but trading forces pinpoint entries----hence the style of averaging in to create a wider entry zone when my analysis says GO.

surf

...@gabfly--- I fail to see how these trades are "hedged" as you claim earlier--- the market will drop short term then launch into one of the final superbulls of the next 50 years-- prior to all going silent/flat for numerous years. Is that clear enough for you?
Absolutely. Let's be sure to bookmark it for posterity.

Will be maintaining shorts over the weekend in the SP500 es. Things appear to be setting up perfectly for the lucifuge style short term decent ( THAT MUST OCCUR ) prior to the superbull activation.

@eprado--- I agree, your long post is excellent for the most part. Yeah, I do get overconfident sometimes, but it would be brutal playing this game without an ego/confidence in positions/self. Other than the last, and only losing trade since the journal started, small position sizes allow for wide swings. I don't trade to grind out a living, I try to ride the big big waves.

enjoy the weekend,

surf

Ego and confidence are very different things amigo.

I hear ya on the big waves. But why stand in front and get rolled by a big wave coming straight at you ? Why not let that wave pass, jump on, and ride it to profit beach?

Have a good weekend, I hope they destroy this market for ya.

I heard a rumour that Dr. N may be needing a diploma baring professional to assist with organizing his 30k plus book collection. I'll be happy to put you on the list as potential candidate for the position ---- books dating back to the 1700's and other interesting finds. free daily squash and tennis included. Let me know.

Surf, are you still holding short? The market is going up again.

Yes, will continue to hold untill the time is right to close. Will do my best to post exit levels before the fact. Stay short. Thanks. Surf
