An interesting article:

Vegetables, legumes, soy, fruit, skim and low-fat dairy. Some protein powder on the days that I focus on vegetables. Lots of flaxseed and a fair amount of oat bran. Between 16 and 24 egg whites per week. Some walnuts every day. I try to stay away from starches, which is hard to do since I love bread. However, I have cut my bread consumption considerably over the last couple of years or so to almost nothing. Almost, but not quite. Admittedly, a fair amount of my non-meat protein is still animal protein, which I understand contains higher levels of sulfur and is therefore a bit harder on the body.Quote from killthesunshine:
you say you eat meat only twice per week and for only one serving each of those days?
what do you eat for the other meals?

Yes. And for the taste, because I sauté onions and peppers, add a bit of low fat swiss cheese, roasted garlic, hot salsa and balsamic vinegar while scrambling the egg whites. It is one of my favorite meals.Quote from killthesunshine:
...Your probably eating whites to boost your protein?

Yeah, that part was crap. I try not to be influenced by mystics and misfits. (Note how mystic sounds a lot like mistake.)Quote from FortuneTeller:
I like this part of the article:
"Two thousand years ago, in this Bible passage, Paul asked for tolerance between meat eaters and vegetarians (Romans 14:1-2). âOne manâs faith allows him to eat everything, but another man whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables."
