There are 2 types of musicians, natural talent with perfect pitch & the rest, naturals don't need any tutoring or theory.
I agree but they are relatively few, and knowing "theory" can certainly help even them.

Never-the-less, understanding music theory or fact greatly enhances your ability to understand and express.

Sure. Ask Volente how his understanding of the market has enhanced his short....

(OK, I apologize that was mean)

The point is, if I teach you one of my patterns, do you have to know the why? Of course not. Hey I don't even know why the dragon pattern works, I just recognized it and use it. Does it work all the time? Of course not, nothing does, but it works more often then not.

And going back to music, I can jam on the guitar and keyboard but anytime I try to learn theory, I get bored out of my mind in 20 seconds...

Theory won't benefit them much due to perfect pitch, theory is really for the ones that struggle to distinguish pitch. I rubbed shoulders with some of those guys, they were really incredible, all were brilliant in improvisational ability, can't learn that, you could learn to play all sorts of riffs, but that's where it will end really.

Anyhow, I have over 20+ years in music, studied modern music/jazz, so speak from experience.

I have 40 years, understanding permutations of modal and chordal possibilities can help regardless of natural talent. BTW, I stand in awe of the "naturals".

Here is the weekly chart showing the target at the upper BB:

Al ot of 2500 talk on twitter which I can certainly see being hit soon. I don't think they'll let it go down, personally. Any dip will be bought aggressively
