Perhaps, but I didn't just manufacture a fantasy that my kids won't inherit to prove a point to a bunch of anon-degens.
Yes but my point is that son or nephew of hers shouldn't have been relying on her in the first place. Why couldn't they pay for the surgery themselves and instead to have her pay for everything?? I mean when we need to pay for something, we pay for it ourselves; we don't go to our mother or aunt to ask them to pay for it.

1) I don't need money or wealth when I pass on.
2) I very much believe that those whom I appoint to receive my leftover wealth are better at managing and using for good than my kids whose career is not focused on such pursuit.
3) I denied nobody. I invested in everything my kids needed until they finished college. Everything else is on them. I don't believe in legacies. Legacies are for scared old men who realize at old age that they can't take their wealth with them, that they will be stripped naked and go back to the same soil they came from. In their sheer panic of realization they now affix little names and titles on the front porches of libraries. How pathetic for men who built fortunes.
4) I don't believe that every government does well with managing funds. Hence the 100% inheritance tax. Nobody in their right mind would pass any wealth on but invest it in others in their life time. Not to hold on to financial wealth but to spread it through charitable giving.

Well with all due respect, you know nothing about me and I equally know nothing about you and, judging from your posts, I don't have the slightest interest to change that. If you don't get the point on inheritance and deem it quint essential then I am afraid you have understood nothing about the true meaning of life. You’re not dumb so I suspect you get my point that we all know who you are and a few know your background… which doesn’t involve children.
Perhaps it’s time for some self-reflection. Ask yourself how pathetic it was to invent children to further a meaningless argument on a meaningless thread.
