"Social harmony"? LMAO.
Yea, race matters when discussing crime and education. Simply put, drop out rates among blacks are multiples of those of white kids. Or do you think the rates are random?
I find it humorous that blaming whitey for the problems of blacks is P.C. acceptable but if whites disparage black parents (or lack of parental influence) for
their problems then racism is in play.
Because virtually 100% of my Chicago property tax bill goes to education costs for minorities (Chicago schools are just 11% white) I think I'm entitled to my opinion.
Here's what libs would like America to believe:
1. Whites fail to adequately fund inner city schools. This despite the fact that many of America's
highest spending districts are in the unionized big cities of the North.
2. Curriculum reflects traditional white cultural standards rather than todays diverse climate. Given that drop out rates of Asian students are around the same as whites this is also a non-starter.
3.English is an antiquated vernacular in todays American schools. When in Rome....
4.Black kids are stuck in segregated schools. This point is the most ironic of all. For starters the corollary could just as easy be that white kids do better if
they too are segregated but the truth is the vast majority of those âall blackâ schools up North were once
all white.
Two generations ago Compton, the Bronx and Chicago's South Side were majority white. The schools themselves and the curriculum are unchanged from back then. What's different? Only the people teaching and enrolled in the educational system of those cities.
Would I refuse to hire someone based on race? Hardly. In fact I don't think I've had a white American do work on the house in Fla since I've been here. Just the same BlackAce, I call a spade a spade. No pun of course intended.......

Sad that my first post has to be in this thread.
I was trolling through various threads and came upon garbage. Without a doubt, individuals like Pabst are the cause of much concern to social harmony. It took me only seconds to read the first couple of line of the initial thread to wonder," when will this turn into a black/white issue?"
The point of the matter is not whether you think that education is substandard in this country or that some may or may not use to the full advantage of their abilities the opportunities available to them in this country. But, how you view a certain segment of the population. Your views have very little to do with the capacity of one race to succeed or fail in this society, but how the affects of our muddied racial past as a nation still infects everyone. You offer nothing in the way of meaningful nor constructive solutions to anything.
Answer this one question. With the views that you harbor, would a "qualified",talented and capable individual of Black decent stand a chance of getting hired if you ran a company?
