The Poker Aces Playing a Key Hand in the $5 Trillion ETF Market

Poker champions? No correlation at all to the financial markets. Two entirely different skill sets. (How many have both, if any? And even if they do, they are not correlated, but rather separate.)

Blackjack winners? Well, they've got some background.

Personally, I'm thinking you're fantasizing... there are likely few if any "card playing stock market millionaires" as you seem to believe there are. (And sure as HELL there are no "billionaire" market players who got their chops at the poker table. Poker purses are chicken feed to them, so they wouldn't bother.)

I don't know about how much poker you played over your lifetime, but I played about 3-times a week for ~15 years. My views on this are not just "dumbass speculation".
You are a good poker player, played for 15 yrs, you are a good trader, trade for many years. So, you are a living proof guru's points.:D

No, it's not a matter of being smart in poker. It's just a different kind of "smart".... but does not correlate to financial market savvy.

You need to be "some kind" of smart to be a surgeon, rocket scientist, et al. No correlation to poker there either.

Results? People who have been professional games players/gamblers (including poker) have a higher success rate as traders according to a number of trading firms and hedge funds.

Facts are facts.

So the poker players have an edge? Gee, wonder what that edge is...(P.S. The point of this video is that meathead in the beginning looking at the player's cards with a secret camera. He was seeing the opponents' cards and clicking the numbers of the cards with his clicker, which went to a device to Harry's leg. I could not find a clip with him doing that and which also showed the actual device on Harry's leg. But basically, he cheated.)

It is a great movie, by the way, highly recommended.
