The Pandemic Could Be ‘Effectively’ Over by April, According to J.P. Morgan

We all can agree that covid won't disappear for several years, if at all.
We can also agree that at some point, probably when death count is lower than the common flu, there will be a global announcement of some sort giving us all the "stay vigilant but you can go back to what was a normal life."
All I care about is the ability to fly anywhere around the world without having to quarantine going or coming back...
 
Even if the pandemic is "effectively" over by April, does that mean airports, hotels, restaurants, concerts, movie theatres, cruise ships, festivals, etc are going to be operating in April?

If not, then the pandemic certainly will not be over by April, as far as JP Morgan's interests are concerned.

The US is quite big, it won't happen all at once everywhere. I saw the news of the cancelled Mardi Grass this morning, I would say they could have it fairly safely (mask still needed) in 4-6 weeks.

On the other hand Florida never really closed down, so if you are young or got your vaccination or don't care, there have been plenty of deals. I heard you can get hotel rooms for $65 in Key West and this would be the middle of their season.

The current rate of infection is 1 person a day per 3500 or so. Even if it is under reported by 100% it is still pretty low. And that is just infection, not seriously ill or dead.

There is also a fairly effective and cheap treatment, what they are not really talking about for some reasons. It is an old asthma steroid inhaler made by AZ. It cut death and serious illness by 90%.
In Europe its cost is $40.

They've just admitted Vitamin D3 cuts deaths by 80% aswell, cheap as chips if not cheaper, we knew this 11months ago, yet they ignored to kill people to create more fear.

They'll discover HydroChlorquine with ZINC works aswell at some stage, but without ZINC it's pointless, no you don't say.

I'm sure they'll invent a new strain that'll mean lockdowns until we are all bankrupt mind.

Mardi Gras would have created a disaster. Too many in the community still suffering from the damage caused by the 2020 Mardi Gras that left so many dead, suffering as long haulers or closed shop (business failure).

Instead of traveling and possibly causing an outbreak...invest the same money in your own community via buying locally.

Nope. I am talking about a month+ from now. By then 25% of the population (at danger, old) will be vaccinated so even the young who may take it home wouldn't infect them. And as I mentioned some precaution still would be in order. Lock downs were done for protecting hospital overflow, we are not in danger of that now.

America will be partying like it is 1999 by April, mark my word. Daily death will be under 500, daily new infections under 20K.
