The Opening Orders Thread

Professor, sure, please feel free to submit if it will assist.

I am not quite clear on the difference between the 'consolidated' vs. NYSE. For analysis purposes, is using the 'open' price on yahoo finance valid? I am trying to find a more efficient way to do my EOD lookback.

Thanks again, I sent you a PM.

No, Yahoo finance is not valid. Most vendors have just switched over to a consolidated quote which may come a dozen different sources...if you use yahoo you will likely have bad data.

For after hours stuff, $6.95 per month www.mytrack.com

Scratch day. 3 long - 1 small win, 1 small loss, 1 scratch. -21, 5500 shares.

Opening action didn't allow for much patience with longs that weren't performing.

Actually, does anyone know the best place to find the most commands?

I found some things here, Financial-edu.com , but it needs to be purchased and they seem more "black box" than glossary or index.
