Sorry, but your handle keeps bugging me. When I see it, my brain starts computing permutations and it drives me nuts. I gotta ask. Is your name Steve Crause?

Pretty funny. Kind of a dumb story behind it but I'll tell it anyway.

It is supposed to be "Suge Knight" (the former head of Death Row Records) in French (actually "sugar knight"). While I was on vacation in France a buddy of mine who speaks half decent French translated the name (which is a nickname I was given years ago) but botched it. It wasn't until after I created a Yahoo email account for use when ordering things over the internet or using public forums (to avoid getting my personal account sold to or dectected by spammers) that I found out the translation should be "Sucre Chavalier". I never bothered to correct it.

I'm sure you're not the only one here wondering what the hell it meant.

Ah! If I had expanded my search to foreign languages, a better guess would have been sucre_steve, or sugar steve after translation.

Either way, I was totally off. At least now I don't sit there and stare at your alias. :D

I have absolutely no idea what you just said. I guess I'll check out the link!

Basically, Don is saying "forgetaboutit".

No one can vary their bets 20-1 in a las vegas casino unless they own it.

Can you imagine betting $10.00 per hand when the count is neg and jumping up to $200.00 when it's positive and having the gremlins just smile at you?

lol

We can get one hand of $25 to two hands of, maybe $200 - but, as you say, not for very long. Depending on the game, we can come out with first bet of $250 on two hands (odds very close to even on first hand), and then bounce around with one and two hands. However, a number of the tighter casinos won't allow you to go from one to two hands (real bummer) - but Cruise Ships Baby - that's where to play, pay for the trip(s), LOL.

For our new friend interested in Blackjack (our Family "Bible").
