This morning I came up with the following numbers on DEO:

Bid $78.72 and Offer $79.5

DEO opened at $80.35

Question: Had I entered both orders for 500 shares which price would I have received on the trade?

Would I have been filled with a short position at $80.35?

You can send until the stock opens, but they might not accept the order if really close to opening the stock. I try to send orders about 3-4 minutes prior to the bell.

Yes, short at opening price, buy order automatically cancelled if entered as "opening only."

Back to normal, sort of...small number of fills +$450.

My latest "new kid" (College Senior, first day of entering live orders) was 4 for 4 winners on entering only 10.

off yesterday...

11 fills / 32000 shares

9 long / 2 short / +2114.00

- 1.0 / + .05% from last night's close

1 scratch / 1 loser / 9 wins...

nice to see all the new faces...please be sure to ask questions on the boards and not pm everyone one to death...

i am sure we all can benifit from open q & a...
 
One fill long JNJ for a small win
Accidentally cancelled 4 remaining open orders (again) & missed a nice fill long on T...gotta move that hot key to another spot
