Articles like the one above simply state facts. Red states are the biggest benefits of food stamps. If the program is so bad then GOP leaders should go down to those states and do something about it rather than blame fantasy lefty Blue states

Feeding kids is a tightrope. You want to serve healthy food but you also want to ensure that they are getting sufficient calories, necessary fat intake and vitamins/minerals.
If you serve them kale they aren't going to eat much.
Everyone knows our brains run on carbohydrates. It is not irresponsible to supply adequate carbs in school lunches. You aren't setting up kids to become diabetic, you are supplying nutrients needed for efficient learning.

Nothing wrong with reducing amount of pizza and burgers and bringing in fruit and some more wholesome choices though.
