Really? Gee using that analysis the US should have collapsed a long time ago.
The difference is that if California doesn't like interest rate policy they can't withdraw from the United States and immediately start issuing debt in their own currency. Italy for example can withdraw from the EU, and announce that all of their Euro bonds will now be repaid with Lira, and start issuing new Lira bonds, and turn on the printing presses full speed to pay for it, any time they want. Soon after Spain and others would follow. EU nations can leave the EU anytime they want. That is the big difference.

The US dollar saved the California economy from complete humiliation.

So US household is wealthy but the government is broken. Chinese household is broken while the government is wealthy. US is not just wealthier but also hv a better structure (having a wealthy population instead of a wealthy government).
Anyway, India/China made up 50% of WW GDP from 1st century until 1850-1900. They are just returning to the mean now.
But the Indians hv just won the first personal Olympic Gold and the local Chinese hv yet to win any Nobel Price. So the potential is there but both countries hv a long way to do.
As for Russia, it is a country with such a short history but has the most vast territory in the world. All its history is about land expansion so I always don't feel easy about this neighbour.

SouthAmerica: Now that the Chinese became a major world power slowly they will learn how to play the promotion game for the Chinese people also to receive Nobel Prizes.

But I need to say something about the Chinese they donât take over countries with armies soldiers, and guns â they just move in very quietly and become the business structures of many countries â most of the countries in Africa would have just complete chaos, but what keeps them afloat economically are the Chinese and Indian businessmen since they make the brainpower structure and the foundation that keep most of these economies going forward.

Regarding Russia. Their big problem in the future is China. Russians can bully just about anybody but Chinesse.
