The New Jim Crow

Is there something wrong with black people that so many young black men get incarcerated, or is there something wrong with our society?

This country has got to start making fake jobs for people. But they should be like placebos, the people taking them should believe they are real jobs. So they believe they're earning their living and they take home a sense of pride, like the rest of us. Sure, there is a lost generation, who "don't want to work", but we have to start somewhere.

It all started many years ago. Only the best and brightest Africans were chosen. Ahem. They were enslaved. Then after hundreds of years of this they were set free. They were told this land that enslaved them was also theirs. To have pride. I don't think they believe that yet.

I guess all these young lads are innocent. If they truly are innocent, then there is certainly a problem with the legal system, but they aren't all innocent, now are they?
Somewhere along the way the black community lost it's way, and I'm not talking about slavery. This happened between 1965 and 1984 or so. Focus on that time, investigate what polices and procedures were put into place, how those policies were carried out, and you'll find the answer to the problem that exists today. Coincidently, or maybe not, this is about the same time the country lost it's way.
The black community is certainly paying a heavier toll than the rest of us, but make no mistake, the entire country is paying a price for this well thought out crime being perpetrated upon us by our very own government and their corporate masters.
Any guesses?

good question Captain Obvious... but even though the austrian school predicted it... as did David Stockman in the 80s...

who needs a young lad? Or a husband or father? Welfare is my husband. The government is my father. If you are male and black, nobody needs you. Might as well just go sell drugs, that's where the money is. Thank g-d the govenment still makes drugs illegal so the blacks have a way to make money.

Wasn't this one of the base strategies in the former Soviet Union?
