LOL! Neither did I. I was meaning that the Communist party's dictate was that everyone work. Unemployment was generally unheard of in the Soviet Union - in fact they had propaganda about how the West was poor, people living on the streets with no jobs, etc. They always talked about the jobs.
Of course. If you lived in the Soviet Union, you lived for and worked for "the State"... no unemployment, no slackers. If you didn't work, you were of no value and might as well be exterminated. If you didn't know what to do, the State would tell you... "toil in the fields", or "toil in the mines", or whatever the state wants/needs you to do. If you don't go along... well, you're expendable. America's "Leftism" will eventually get around to that, too... once the political base is secured beyond all challenges.
In America, we're allowing/encouraging all kinds of "no-work slackers"... subsidized by the work of other citizens... so that the slackers can "vote the right way".
Its the logical outcome of 50 years of the "war on poverty".

The new Jim Crow is the unmitigated assault on the white male. They, radical leftists, don't really want to change the numbers of the prison population, just the complexion.
