The National Football League-that was the week that was

Quote from hapaboy:

Getting rid of him would be insane. He's a young, top 5 quarterback. Those don't come along very often - especially to Cleveland! Pinning their hopes on Brady Quinn and shipping Anderson off would be asinine.

But what do I know? I'm just a fan who happens to have Anderson and Edwards in my fantasy league, and they're kicking ass!! :)

That's my thought process as well but apparently I'm in the minority on this other message board at least.

I won't be surprised at all to see the Browns trade him and Quinn is the next Ryan Leaf and we go backwards 10 years.

You heard it here first.

Also N.E. last game vs N.Y. Giants when the Pats attempt to go 16-0 also NFL Network most will not see this game. Is the NFL harming themselves or just trying to make more money??????

pats won't go undefeated. you heard it here.

if they win the next 3 games, they will be #1 seed and have nothing to play for, while the giants will be fighting for a wildcard spot. so in the final game, it'll be the patriots backups against highly motivated giants starters. giants will win. even the miami game is not a given if the pats rest their starters. 15-1 or 14-2 is my prediction.

I either missed this or it's a breaking story

Redskins' Taylor critical after being shot at home
(Adds comments from Taylor's father)
MIAMI, Nov 26 (Reuters) - The National Football League's Sean Taylor, a star defensive player for the Washington Redskins, was in critical condition after being shot at his home near Miami by a suspected intruder on Monday, police said.
Taylor, 24, who was the Redskins' first pick in the 2004 draft, was airlifted to Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment, police said.

Police: Taylor shooting appears 'random'

By JOSEPH WHITE, AP Sports WriterThu Nov 29, 4:18 AM ET

Police investigating Sean Taylor's death say they've found no indication the Washington Redskins safety was targeted or knew the assailant who broke into his home.

Miami-Dade police director Robert Parker called it "more like a random event."

AAA - What's your take on tonights cowboys - packers game? I don't have a good feeling about it, but I hope I'm wrong.

Cardinals’ Rolle: Taylor's death was no burglary
Childhood friend says player was ‘scared every time he was down in Miami’

TEMPE, Ariz. - Still in disbelief of his childhood friend’s shooting death, Arizona Cardinals cornerback Antrel Rolle vowed Wednesday to make sure Sean Taylor is remembered.

He added he did not believe the killing was part of a burglary gone sour, and that Taylor had many enemies on the streets of Miami.

“This was not the first incident,” Rolle said. “They’ve been targeting him for three years now.”

Rolle said many former “friends” had it in for Taylor, who was trying to build a more stable life.

“He really didn’t say too much,” Rolle said, “but I know he lived his life pretty much scared every day of his life when he was down in Miami because those people were targeting him. At least, he’s got peace now.”

Have another drink pal.

NFW that was a property crime. Or random. We'll see who is right in time. The cop that issued the statement doesn't even believe the BS he reported.

The guy has taken his team to 10-1 going into last night and you tell him to reitre? A little perspective is in order here.

I think Aaron Rodgers is a free agent after this year. The Bears should give serious consideration to this guy.
