DC should be a state. That really needs to be cleared up. The district was never intended to alienate so many people from federal representation. PR and VI aren’t exactly overwhelmingly down with joining the US proper. I get it’s a majority there but still that doesn’t make statehood right for PR and VI.

For a Republican he was. But that wasn’t the point I was making. I was trying to show there is as much frustration on the right with not getting their full agendas through.

VI already has a( reliably blue) House Seat.Who cares what they say we need 2 reliably blue Senate seats and an extra EC vote from them.

If any of the territories complain tell them they have a choice,statehood or nothing.Bet they all choose to stay.


The Marina Islands are moderate so we can leave them out.

Puerto Ricans love the fact they can come and go to The US as they please.Threaten to take that right from them those numbers will go way up.

That sounds like you’d be willing to threaten the people of Puerto Rico if they wanted to keep their status as a territory - which many do. And yes they like having social security numbers and access to the states. They have a nice deal but they need some trade regulations lifted in truth.

Of course.We need those 2 blue Sanate seats and what ever EC votes they get.This is about controlling The Senate and SC forever.Dems need to do whatever needs to be done:cool:

GOP could never pass or block a bill in The Senate or overturn a Dem law or EO in The SC ever again.
