Do you remember when John McCain stopped the repeal of the affordable care act? His thumbs down saved millions of people’s healthcare coverage.

There are moderates on both sides. If you think you’re sore about not getting student loans forgiven, imagine how upset these right wingers were. And that’s the point, these senators, and that’s where the problem is, are on both sides. Not only do they stop needed legislation they also protect important legislation.

True about Mccain,but if Dems had some fucking balls they could prevent ever needing a moderate republican vote as they have the ability right now to keep control of The Senate forever.

To be fair, there are many different kinds of flies. Mosquitoes would have no interest in honey or vinegar, I'd wager, but fruit flies would probably go for the honey. Horseflies, they're gonna bite your head off for even trying this stunt on 'em.

Why is not making territories states not on the democrat agenda?Its no sillier than having Alaska and Hawaii as states and it gives Dems 10 more Senate seats,preventing The GOP from ever controlling it again

Just going with DC ,PR and Virgin Islands gives them 6 and they already participate in US elections

awww come the fuck on, John never saw a war he didn't like. One memorable act of "moderacy" spurred from getting brain cancer and treatment on the tax payers' dime does not a moderate make.
