Sure, except he's not. Saying Jesus would support climate change initiatives is rather silly unless it was a given fact that not supporting these initiatives would bring about the end of the world or something. Saying "Jesus wants you to recycle" is...well, you probably won't agree because you won't want to admit anything that might harm your point. So let's forget about it.
