For example, Ron DeSantis has driven a demand that Florida universities start using the "Classical Learning Test" for admission rather than SAT or ACT scores. The "Classic Learning Test emphasizes the Western canon and Christian thought". It is primarily used by a small number of very conservative Christian universities for admission --- and now will be used in Florida.

Right wingers are t the sharpest tools in the shed. They seem to have a problem in controlling their immediate need for gratification rather considering the long term consequences.
Now instead of the SATs being considered as part of the whole student, the Supreme Court decided it should be a determining factor of each student and presto change-o no more SATs.
The same thing with that stupid praying in school case. Now Satanic clubs have free access to kids.

He is so mad at the consequences of a ruling he supported when the colleges themselves told everyone they would have no choice but to drop the SATs.
There is no cause and effect. Schools started making the SAT optional during the Covid pandemic, long before the Supreme Court decision barring the use of race in college admissions.
