The market is whispering something...

"paradoxical intention is the phenomenon of whereby the more we make something a target, the more likely we are to miss it"

...doesn't leave much room for goal-setting then does it?

:)

I do not Hate foriegners allthough I should considering I am a first generatiion american and have to deal with family coming to the states dictating what we should do for them and then upon me visiting them having to still meet those requirements. And this is my point in fact, this country is the best and the people here are nice so why not try to preserve this great country and kill some arab ass bastards who are jelouse of the way we live.

No offense hiawacki, but I think you don't get it.

Peace,

Comp
You're not a bigot, you're not a fascist, you don't hate foreigners. Then you state we should "kill some arab ass bastards". Then you sign with the word "Peace", and accuse me of "not getting it".

What I don't get is how you can make these contradictory remarks and not even see the slightest hypocrisy.

"People here are nice". Well, gee, I was walking into a store, and someone I didn't even know held the door open for me for a second, and said "you're welcome" when I thanked him. That's a good reason to go drop some bombs on people I don't know in some country I've never been to.

klutz:The best bit was ....."I cannot be that wrong if the leader of the US feels the same way".

Hail to the infallible American leader!
I don't know what country your family comes from Compisnada, and quite likely it is a place where political coups commonly take place and fair elections are a rare thing. But in the United States of America, we are supposed to have genuine fair free elections.
When a gang tampers with elections so that one of them can claim to be the leader, it doesn't sit well with Americans who understand what America is supposed to be about.

Even when the president is fairly elected, we the people have the right to disagree with him. When he's just an imposter who committed election fraud to grab power, we not only have the right but the obligation as Americans to oppose him. And that's what Bush is. And your willingness to give this pettyminded dictator free reign is remiscent of the mentality in fascist regimes.

We're all stuck waiting for a few more months...

Hope you are right on the first call, and mistaken about waiting a few more months.

I can't imagine dealing with a market like this for a few more months.

I'm done feeding the troll.

We're done now- don't expect me to talk to you. Maybe you can make friends with one of the other kids on your short bus.
Amen

I'm done feeding the troll.

I'll 2nd that Amen

Maybe Saddam takes a powder in Libya or France or the Russians or someone else takes him out but it better happen soon - within the next 10 days or so. That hospital ship leaving says war sooner rather than later to me. Also, vanishing nurses from your local hospital would probably be as reliable a tell this time as pizza deliveries to the White House were the last time. When I look at Rumsfeld and Bush, I see ones who long ago made up their minds that the UN and world opinion were never going to be with us on this one. I'd say the silence of late from Russia and China on US restraint is pretty ominous also. Cannot find anything that supports a delay scenario.

Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

ever get the impression that there are two different conversations going on here?

one from the thread's beginner, and one from all the other(s)

LOL! Here? Naaaaah! This baby is solidly on-topic.

:D

So suppose you had bet 10k on whether there was a war or not (pick a side) in the next 6 months. How would you lay off risk?
