Not everyone agrees that the housing market is so reliant on cash. The National Association of Realtors says its data suggests the rate of cash sales is lower and on the decline. All-cash sales comprised 33% of transactions in March versus 35% in February and 30% in March 2013, according to data released last month. Individual investors purchased 17% of homes in March, down from 21% in February and 19% in March 2013, the NAR found. But existing home sales were flat in March, the report found. The pool of potential buyers is limited due to tight lending standards and rising interest rates, experts say.

Pump and dump.
That is one big game even politically.
How is Mr Bannion ?
Sore I expect.
Mr Dump may declare he is Emperor any day now.

Current progress:
I don't think the U.S. is going to vote to let California separate and then eventually become part of Mexico. There is another development however. The people that pulled off Brexit have said that they are going to do the same for California but it's not about separating the whole state from the U.S., it's about separating the east half from the west half. The east half is a red state that is regulated by the politicians of the west half, same as Britain was regulated by bureaucrats in the EU. That will make a new red state with two Senators.

According to my map Cali is a long thin state running North/South.
Where you get East/West I don't know.

Calexit III? New ballot measure plots another route to California independence

This time, the goal is convening a U.S. constitutional convention to overhaul what proponents call a moldy national blueprint out of step with life in California.

The measure says a reworked Constitution should include a provision creating a “clear and reasonable path for states to achieve complete independence from the United States should any state so choose.” No state has become independent under the existing U.S. Constitution.

“The world has changed dramatically since 1787,” reads the preamble of the California Calls for a Constitutional Convention, or “Cal Con Con.”

Central Banks Told to Embrace Negative Rates as Recession Looms

Negative interest rates are back in the spotlight.

Investors and analysts are redoubling their warnings that with global borrowing costs already so low, central banks will need to be prepared to cut interest rates deep into negative territory in the next economic downturn. The message is taking on urgency as anxiety builds that the U.S. is nearing the end of its current economic expansion cycle.

Can a Decades-Old Immigration Proposal Pass Under Trump?

The RAISE Act, with the backing of the White House, represents the best opportunity for immigration restrictionist groups in 20 years.

Earlier this month, Trump threw his weight behind a modified version of the Reforming American Immigration for a Strong Economy Act, a measure first introduced by Republican Senators Tom Cotton and David Perdue in February that would cut legal immigration to the United States by 50 percent over a decade. “Finally, the reforms in the RAISE Act will help ensure that newcomers to our wonderful country will be assimilated, will succeed, and will achieve the American Dream,” Trump said in an announcement from the White House.

Any guaranteed success by the government for welcoming new immigrants, who will become old migrants in 20 years, would only provide required positive competition as well as desired constructive motivational energy that old migrants would truly need!

Just 2 cents! :D

America Is Destined for Decline Without More Immigrants

America urgently needs the brains and drive of people who now live in other countries.

A second case relies on the innovation and entrepreneurship that immigrants generate. Newcomers to the U.S. tend to be highly entrepreneurial -- something we sorely need in a time when the country is creating fewer startup businesses. Skilled immigrants also tend to be highly innovative, especially when paired with other smart and talented workers; this is one reason skilled immigrants raise the wages of their native-born counterparts.

perhaps some things need to do concurrently.

1. remove the current budget ceiling in order to use unlimited money that the government wants.

2. use the unlimited money budget to build unlimited infrastructure projects, especially setting up several "trust funds - investing in stocks market" for various objectives, including medical, social security, productivity development, green technology, etc., in order to attain a better than full employment economy within a shortest period of time.

3. spend unlimited money in international development aids for unlimited number of American citizens having US-tax-free status while working overseas countries that were once invaded by the US, as well as some other developing Africa countries that would be most suitable for the Americans of Africa origin.

4. allow unlimited number of wealthy and educated immigrants from overseas, disregarding any race or faith background, to bring in money to buy brand-new houses that are recently built or being built.

5. ...

Never too late!!! LOL

Here’s a Solution for the Annual Debt Ceiling Crisis: Get Rid of It

June 21, 2017
http://www.thefiscaltimes.com/2017/06/21/Here-s-Solution-Annual-Debt-Ceiling-Crisis-Get-Rid-it

Lifting the debt ceiling has been a politically onerous task dating back to the 1950s because neither party wants to be perceived by voters as accommodating runaway government spending. That’s ironic because the debt ceiling law has nothing to do with increased spending. Rather, it authorizes the Treasury to borrow money to cover spending already authorized by Congress and the President.
