I used to say back in the campaign season "that Joe will be the cardboard cut-out President if elected." He ran an entire campaign from his basement.
Not seeing any reason to change that projection at this point. He may have died six months ago for all we know. Maybe even before the election. Although no one can fuck things up the way Joe Biden does so that is probably a confirmation that he is still alive.

They scrambled ahead of Thursday’s deadline to broker a stopgap deal to prevent a partial government shutdown, while Biden’s centerpiece infrastructure deal hung in the balance between warring Democratic factions.
Biden’s party, which was united in its opposition to his predecessor, is splitting along progressive and moderate lines now that Donald Trump is no longer in office as a unifying figure. Each is pursuing its own visions of Democratic politics, as well as its own political self-interest — the progressives mainly hold safe seats and are therefore free to pursue ideological objectives with minimal electoral risk, while the moderates fear for their re-election next year and need to demonstrate their independence from Biden and the rest of their party’s leadership.

Although since this is not my first time at the rodeo I know that the Tards here will just start arguing that defeat on that bill is the best thing that could have happened because in that way dem voters will not be living with the inflation and horror stories of waste when the midterms occur. The activist greeted the senator while she tried to read, then asked her about the ‘pathway to citizenship.’ provision of the budget that Democrats want to pass via reconciliation, even though the Senate parliamentarian has scored this legislative method as unconstitutional.
“We have been waiting for this for too long, and I just need to know if you can come in” and meet with her, the activist asked.
Sinema refused to acknowledge the activist and continued to read. She then slowly shook her head ‘no’ as if to indicate that she was not going to talk under the inappropriate circumstances.
