"Science" not necessarily looking good for booster shots. At least according to a Lancet article.

For those who were born yesterday, let me splain how "the science works,"

Pfizer and Moderna and JanJ need the booster market.

From there, the science begins. Although they will wiggle it to say, boosters are not recommended for everyone unless you are x,y,z which will cover a hefty portion of the population.

Good --- this means that vaccines are very effective for most people.

The science appears to support that boosters are only needed at the 8 month mark for the immunocompromised and the elderly (over 65).

Of course, it should be mentioned that right from the beginning the expectation was that boosters would be required between the 1 to 2 year mark for this first generation of Covid vaccines.

I see that I posted the above in the wrong thread this morning. Sorry bout dat. Too many windows open and things can get early on the West Coast. I should have placed it in one of GWB's 423 vaccine threads. He makes it easy to find one. Thank you GWB. Too many is not enough apparently.

And here, later in the day, I see Fauci coming along right on schedule like clockwork to let us know once again that "following the science" is a flexible thing and that Lance article will not be the science- because, I guess, Lancet is a maga outfit in Alabama or something. Who knew? Toldja so.

One thing that I did not know earlier when I did a hit and run reading of the article is that the authors of the Lancet article are the two FDA regulators who resigned in protest of Fauci meddling. The plot sickens I guess.

I hope I will not see AOC cry. I have not exactly caught up on that story yet. As far as I can tell she is crying over her own voting for something. Man, loony women are complicated. Vote the other way then, biiitch. Oh, I see. Lots of jewish people to consider since her district is being re-districted. Nevermind. Trump, climate change, Paul Mannafort.

Its a short story. AOC was crying because a few less jews will be killed in Israel by rockets fired from Gaza and Southern Lebanon. Somebody convinced her to vote "present" for reasons that are unclear.

I think Pelosi laid down the law so far as voting against the resolution adding support for the Iron Dome.

Pelosi is a snake and used the Squad to check for minefields. They were out on point and she heard the mines exploding so she made like she was the adult in the room and had it restored.

CROCK. The funding had been in there and you would have to believe that she was unaware that it was being removed before it was done. NOPE. She let it go and I doubt that it was because she didn't care. She is an anti-semite along with the rest of the dems but she wanted it removed so that it could be used as a bargaining chip for some other stuff if she put it back in. Except it blew up and had an ugly look to it.
