It looks quartz, but no way it has a 10Y battery... does it run at all?

7 jewels (quartz?).... new battery... works sporadically. it will keep time and then just stop, then I will notice it running again like 4 months later.

are all quartz watches no good or just ML quartz?

No, there are some great quartz movements out there. Many are jeweled as you know. The Seiko 7C46 is an amazingly tough and accurate quartz. 7Y battery as well.

My guess is the the thing is dirty and the torque in the movement cannot compensate for the gunk.

Any of you guys running high-end autos with blown-motors need to get this shit, now.

Oil temps on a dual-turbo motor went down 25-degrees. I am amazed.

I read the gauge from outside the car... oil temps are ~10-15 degrees lower.
