Yes, but that damned scratch sits there and calls me foul words all day long. Drives me nuts seeing it on such a cool looking bezel!
I may just wear it, as I cringe thinking about $650 for a flimsy, pussy ass bezel, plus whatever it costs to snap it in there. I wouldn't try! Lol!
And yes, these markers really surprised me. They've got some kind of hard to explain glow during the day, and in the evening, is a little too flashy bright, as it glows so much from the daylight charge. Night is just fine though. Or what I can tell from walking in the garage to see the glow. Lol! Tritium needs no light, as you know, and is wicked shit! And I don't know why, but this piece has been growing on me:

I thought gay at first being a blue in that hue lol, but would wear this to the gym any day after looking at it more and more.

Would own this one as well. I like Luminox. They're not the glowing glow they hype, but does show up well enough for me to see in most conditions.

I like tritium because it's radioluminescent, but it doesn't glow nearly as bright as a charged SL device. My Seiko SBBN013 diver is like a torch, but I would trade SL for tritium. The SL only lasts an hour or two.
Regardless, few use it today. Luminox and Marathon. Marathon makes some killer stuff with ETA and quartz. Tritium tubes on the watch-hands.

Haven't hit mine with the surefire, but will point out the glow does fade significantly. Hasn't been dark too long here, and I would say it's "settled down," to a dim green glow for the night. The sl is nothing to write home about. Was afraid of that. Now my Pam 111 does stay pretty bright all night. It should. It's 44mm, lol! Is basically a small dumbbell. Lol
Luminox? Fad went two decades ago. Had a few, and always wound up selling. I'd buy that all black chrono, but I'd give it a year, and it would most likely wind up sold for considerably less than I paid.
It's grown on me big time. Thought this was gonna be a sell piece a year or so from now, but don't think I could do it. The bezel reminds me of some kind of putting green, lol; a rich, bold green, with a hint of yellow "glowing" 'under' it. I hope others here excuse my horrid explanation(s). What I'm trying to say is, if the chance presents itself, try on the LV! That classy green coupled by large "glowing" markers (are a "shiny" eye catching, kind of hard to describe thing. Damnit! Lol!) date wheel is that bold white, and bold numbering vs my last black/black stainless, date Sub that was a little smaller font, and blah looking date wheel. One thing most don't notice is the hands are "fatter" vs avg sub. Rolex, and small details... Always love that about them!

Since After lost screwed up this thread to be damned, last pic. Something every watch head must have, bare minimum. Elion three stage winder that's so quiet, I can't hear it on my nightstand. Then Wife bought it for me, but probably under $200. (Forgive the iphone 4 blurred image. This winder doesn't run fast.)

Cool. I don't know how heavy you're going to get into it, but if you start doing some serious mixing, and even launch an independent label to release your stuff on (which is my goal for early next year), I'd like to recommend some of the best books in the business for home setups like ours:
"The Art of Mixing...2nd edition"...David Gibson...also a good overview of the concepts in the book in this lengthy youtube...
And a book that is priceless in taking your home mixes to the level of the great engineers...which is now entirely possible with current DAWs, is "Mixing Secrets of the Small Studio"...Mike Senior
I also have a number of books I can recommend regarding the business side if you decide to start dropping MP3s or releasing a CD. The legal side regarding royalties is constantly shifting with the digital download age underway, so some studies get outdated quickly...kind of like music equipment.
