uh.... numbnuts... the law has required equal protection under the laws since the Constitution in 1780s... but that didnt apply to women... or slaves.... then slavery ended and it didnt apply to Blacks or Japanese or Chinese.... then Jim Crow ended and it still didnt apply to many minorities even after Congress had to pass laws in the 60s to codify what was already in existence under the Constitution....
Dont act all high and might that the law suddenly requires people to treated people equally when for the first 200 years of our country's founding it was never true at all. Now all of a suddent you are clutching your pearls over equal treatment?
Not from the end of Jim Crow... .SINCE THE FUCKING CONSTITUTION WAS RATIFIED but it has taken those in power until the 1960s to even recognize that even a 5th and 14th Amendment was not enough and Civil Rights Acts had to be passed and then we are still facing discrimination in housing, employment and certain opportunities.
We will stop looking at race when you and your ilk stop first...
