Gaetz is now flexing to the newest hot freshman congresswoman. Gaetz likes them as young as possible so it's probably making Boebert jealous. You can tell she's not as amused sitting next to the older guy.
As far as I'm concerned Schiff and Democrats can shut the fuck up. They didn't do anything productive to try and get Republicans to the middle. Showing unity behind a candidate who had zero chance for 15 straight times was terrible use of any leverage they could have wielded. Now the country is worse off, because of it.

I know that partisan hackery is the norm, but it should be every politician's job to do what's best for the country. It shouldn't be about what fucking team you're on and hoping the other side looks worse. The Democrats don't look good.
McCarthy is on the team of authoritarianism. Need we go over his statements and actions during the 2020 election? Why would the democratic party vote for someone who actively tried to destroy our democracy?
Well, first they should have tried to see if any moderate Republicans could support a less Trumpy candidate. There are a couple of Republicans left who voted to impeach Trump after all. Then they should have tried to get concessions from McCarthy that would have given him more power overall. They didn't need to vote for McCarthy, they could have simply voted present. Now as a result, August will be a complete shitshow.
What makes you think they did not? If I was thinking it and posting it on here, why wouldn't they be thinking it? If it makes you feel any better 3 asshole dems did not show up lowering the threshold for the last vote.
The dems were warned about August and passing the ceiling during lame duck but they're perpetual losers like that.
I think a lot of them just want the Republicans to be in chaos. Good fundraising material for them. They know it's horrible for the country, but they're selfish assholes just like the Republicans.
