The federal government is attacking Texas

Quote from Lucrum:

So their democratic policies had nothing to do with it?

I can't say as I'm surprised you would think that.

Completely overlook the GDP of California,Illinois and New York and base your argument on Detroit

I can't say I'm surprised

You forgot Texas. Or was that intentional? :)

I mentioned Texas in my previous posts.I also mentioned that Texas's biggest city was solidly democratic that voted for Obama and that the current and previous mayor are/were democrats

I also mentioned that out of the top 5 gdp states 3 are democratic and only 1 is republican

Texas GDP is also highly dependent on 1 industry like Detroit was

Austin is the capital city of Texas, their last 4 mayors were democrats as well

I'll also add that Texas will soon become a blue state

Sooooo basically you're saying that you are always right about everything (or can spin it to look that way) AND that all things liberal/democrat are always good all the time and all things republican or conservative (two different things) are always bad all the time.

Gotcha.

I assume you refer to Texas' growing Hispanic population and its tendency to vote Dem. I agree.

It may be a few years or more but demographics are an almost irresistible force. The GOP with its hard line policy that is perceived as being anti Mexican is losing them lots of votes.

I don't recall saying that Lucrum

At the current rate it won't be long before the entire country will be voting democrat/nanny state and we'll all be required to learn Spanish.
The GOP with its hard line policy that is perceived as being anti Mexican is losing them lots of votes.
A completely erroneous perception but I'm sure you knew that already. Of course perception right or wrong is what matters to the sheeple.

I'll get back on the original topic, you said where does gdp come from and 3 of the stop 5 gdp states are blue states, only 1 is a red state.Texas's biggest city is solidly blue and went to Obama and the current and previous mayors are/were democrats.

Obama and Clinton got FL and Gore was cheated out of it.Its a purple state

If you're going to get back to the original topic, at least re-state it properly. I did not say GDP came from any state at all. What I said was that it came from "Republicans". Go back and re-read. I'll wait.
