The Evil Half Dozen - 6 States Faking COVID-19 Data for Political Purposes

I know you want to claim that every single day under a Trump presidency has been cloudy with rain, but no matter how much you stomp your feet, how many adolescent minded insults you hurl, it doesn't change the fact that not every day and everything has been terrible.

Come on man, you are just blocking up every discussion with garbage.

It would be good to have actual useful information here. You are like a child jumping in a muddy puddle.

100K dead over a 3 month period does not warrant a shutdown and would never even been considered under any other president. This is "indisputable".

So I read your comment to mean that Trump's decision to shut down the economy was a fuck up that he is responsible for?

Puddles are meant to be stomped in. As an example, just once, just one of you who lean left I would like to admit that the reason Trump is still being excoriated for his bleach comment and Cuomo is being given a pass for his nursing home fiasco is politically driven. Just acknowledge this painfully obvious fact and I'll quit jumping around in the mud so much, but if you can't bring yourselves to openly admit something so straight forward, then slinging mud and mindless banter is all that is left. There is no point, none at all, in trying to have some type of useful political exchange with people who are so bias they never budge an inch.

Partially, yes, it's on him. I've said so in other posts. He should have pushed back harder on the accuracy of the initial modeling projections before taking such drastic action.

Just refreshing because everyone claims the lockdown was a Democractic ploy to get Trump out of office and I was wondering how that happened if Trump was in charge actually. Nice to see someone claim Trump is actually in charge and blaming everyone else under the sun :).

To be fair I don't think a reduction in activity or type of lockdown in serious areas was a bad idea for a finite period of time. It has been used in the past in emergency health situations to address spreading diseases. The political game of hiding the truth and lying about facts is what this a real shit show from Trump starting in late January and early Feb and the Democratic response thereafter.

Why did lockdowns work in other countries and last shorter time frames? because they did not have the political shit show we have here.

There are no clean hands in this, it was a group decision with Trump at the helm. I have consistently said, if he wants all the credit when things are good, then he gets the heat when it goes south. He got some bad intel, lots of people got panicky, but at the end of the day he is, as Duyba said, the decider.

Two wrongs are two wrongs.

Cuomo is not being given a "pass", there will be a reckoning however I can say now it is obvious that the information coming from the federal level (Trump's bag) was a problem. The left has covered this, just google it. The right... well Rudy moved the 9/11 control center to building 11 against advice and uncounted firefighters died because the fucking control center was out of action. You know, the non-working radios etc. Rudy became "America's Mayor" by brass ballsing through when he should have faced the executioner (literally). We will know the full details of Cuomo's good and bad calls here, what he could have avoided given what he knew etc. soon enough.

The boss tells me to do something and I do it but the information I was given was bad and it did not work well. Who is at fault? The guy saying everything is just fine, nothings to worry about way way way too late?

99% of the failure here has been Trump not acting earlier. Everyone who actually understands what that old exponential means understands this. Options disappeared fast.

Here this has both CNN and mentions EXPONENTIAL... explains how even a week would have halved the deaths. Trump or Cuomo's fault?
