The Election Autopsy

Pro-life bro. It's the elephant in the room. 60,000,000 abortions since 1973. That's a lot of blood.

Life begins at fertilization.

Hillary wanted to make abortion a basic human right.

"Vote your conscience"

I could not have been more wrong about Trump. I thought that he could not win having alienated blacks, Hispanics and women. But I was wrong about the extent to which he had alienated women, which comprise ~50% of voters, and in the end many women voted for him. That may have been the deciding factor in this extremely close race -- virtually a tie in the popular vote.

He picked up on the distrust with which many regarded Clinton, and was able to build it to a fever pitch with cries of "crooked Hillary" and "lock her up". This was music to the ears of those who 'knew' she was 'crooked to the core,' and Trump confirmed it for them by parroting back their charges. This surely helped neutralize her appeal in the minds of many potential female Hillary voters.

Trump has shown me that he not only understands human psychology, but knows how to put it to work to achieve his ends. There is evidence, I think, that his tirades are purposeful, rather than lapses in self-control, though they may have, through long years of successful practice, become nearly involuntary. The evidence lies in the rapidity of his demeanor change once his goal is reached. So now the woman he swore he would jail as his first act as President is now to be congratulated on a hard fought battle, and will remain un-handcuffed.

We may be in for not only a tumultuous four years, but great entertainment as well.

piezoe: you are missing one information: more than 50% of registered voters stayed home.

Trump won because people stayed home, his hardcore fan voted for him.
He won with around 25% of the registered voters.
Hillary lost as democrat voters preferred to stay home rather than vote for her.
