Because average Joe has recently read that the market is doing well. So he is back in the market.

The traders start things first. Give them few days so they can see red in their accounts on long side, and then they will reverse positions, and get used to shorting again.

The VIX looks like it is bottoming out as well, so I'm loading up for the short side.

Notice how the end of day made some people feel very bullish.

I find it actually bearish. Will explain it when I have the facts--probably tomorrow.

I found it actually neutral. At least til the week's end. Good time to short straddles.

right now they are looking for the most populated stop order area. if they are piled up over 950, ( like mine is ) it will go to that direction.
