However unpolished and abrupt Trump has been on the illegal immigration issue, this is exactly what he's talking about, and it happens far more than we ever hear about.

I would too if President Bill ran the gov't like Chairman Bill did - crucifying anyone and everyone with blistering "That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard" explosions should they dare to vocalize and/or demonstrate their incompetence.
I project that would be upwards of 50-100 times a day, depending on how many aides, assistants, bureaucrats, legislators, or lobbyists he sees.
Of course, for this to happen, Melinda needs to be eliminated so he ceases being her civilized lap-dog...
Now, if we get Bezos or Gates to run with Trump, then we'd eagerly anticipate scenarios like below (fast forward to 12:34):

If Trump keeps pushing the immigration issue, we may finally get an accurate referendum on it. As it stands now, all the other republican candidates have positions that range from full amnesty to partial amnesty.
Trump can point to hundreds, thousands of horrific crimes committed by illegals, as Ann Coulter documented. He can point out how illegal immigration hurts blacks, who are already upset about gay marriage. He can point out how the middle class is hurt by the H1 visa scam. For sure none of the other candidates want to discuss any of this. they prefer to focus on who can restart the Cold War the quickest.
That's a sad commentary on the American electorate. One would hope that something other than "rough edges" would attract voters.
Rough edges is a total disregard for political correctness. It comes across as common sense and sincerety.
Christie had the same appeal but his thuggish behavior and embrace of Obama on the eve of the last election ruined it for him.
