You have no idea how to normalize data to show how holding GDP constant that a rise in tax rates leads a rise in revenue yet you continue to argue that lowering tax rates in today's world would increase revenues! That is too funny.

There's a very simple point here that people instinctively understand. It's very possible that a rescue mission would have arrived too late. But if there is any remote possibility that they might get there in time, what kind of leader refuses to send them?
The answer is a leader who values other things more than the lives of Americans in harm's way.
