The Debate

I think you got your wish tonight. I suspect the GOP leadership will cool their "drop out" talk, Drumpf will remain in the race, and Hillary will maintain her lead to the finish line. This is good, because we've got guys like jem ready to start bleating they were for Pence "all along", and he and independents pivot to Pence. Though I have my doubts there are enough independents to overcome the demography's-a-bitch dynamic of this election, anyway.


Pretty much the way I see it.
 
I thought it was even.Betting markets didn't move(they went up 6-7 points for Hillary during the first debate) and yahoo's poll shows Hillary the winner.

CNN poll: 57 percent of viewers say Clinton won the debate

A majority of debate viewers polled by CNN — 57 percent — said Hillary Clinton won the second presidential debate on Sunday night in St. Louis.

Thirty-four percent of debate watchers surveyed in the instant poll said Donald Trump won, though 63 percent overall thought that the Republican nominee surpassed their expectations for him. Twenty-one percent expected him to do worse, according to the network.
