The Debate

We need new blood, new individuals, new ideas, someone uncompromised. Problem with this is that in order to actually have a shot at office you need to compromise, by the time you are actually capable at having a shot, you are too corrupted, owe too many favors, sided with too many infected individuals.

That is the truth of our system, it is very sad, there is actually very little hope for this to change anytime soon.

you got it right there.

the changing demographics caused by immigration from countries with a weak tradition of following the rule of law.

we now have 42 million legal immigrants. 20 million of their children and 20 million illegals... (some whom vote.) And most who were from socialist or big govt control countries.

Now, we who grew up loving the freedoms and opportunity provided by a govt which followed the rule of law and the constitution can barely get a congressman or senator who supports the constitution elected.

Any more immigration from countries without a big rule of law tradition and its lights out on the America which became great following the constitution. We will be voted into a third world crony controlled country with a big army.

There are 3 major issues with the current immigration situation.

1. terrrorists
2. jobs and wages
3. voting patterns

none of those are good things. I got here in California in 88 and we were still free.

In the 80s California elected pete wilson. Ronald Reagan was once the governor. We were a free libertarian type state. Now we are granny state with big ugly bureaucracy and govt rules everywhere.
Now only 30% of us here pay income tax.

it happened fast.

I agree you likely would have gotten those polices with the names you mentioned .With the exception of dole losing 4 of the last 6 elections has more to do with changing demographics,a major third party cadidate and bush being so awful than the cadidates imo.You got the cadidate that you wanted this time and he is likely to lose worse than the last 2 while being in a much better position to win.

Ironically, they have recreated the exact latin American style state they fled from. Corrupt pols who claim to be for the little guy, massive government sucking the life out of everything, tiny group of super rich and everyone else poor or getting there fast.

This is exactly what Hillary and apparently the republican establishment want for the country at large. None of them give a crap about what is best for the country. It is what is best to get them elected or get them in the good graces of big check writers.
