today the damned thing was not only right on with the morning call but it also nailed a "flat, but with a positive bias " afternoon call. i'm waiting to get an email saying no more chrystal ball because goldman sachs or merril lynch just bought it and took it in house. enjoy it while it lasts..

ES has traded between 1292 and 1308 since the open of 8/16 session, twelve days mired within a 16pt total range. If the tape slows down any further than this, it'll slip into a coma. Gotta love the typical second-half of August (in)action!

Rennick wearing overalls, conductors hat and carrying what looks like a haysickle enters the room. Mrs Rennick curtsees and offers the ceremonial Turbin, but the Amazing one waves it off as he moves to the podium. A quick look at the mighty "Chrystal Ball" and Rennick will now speak
"The all knowing Orb was neutral all day yesterday and neutral this morning. It remains NEUTRAL calling for FLAT Market action this afternoon."

Having learned he will not be trading today the Amazing One will now return to the clearing of brush on the back forty.

OT, i'm posting now from my shiny-new macbook pro.
This is by far the best computer I have ever used. I'm running parallels so I have XP running in another window, and it's running faster then my old thinkpad t42.
